Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, is the UK’s innovation agency. The support of Innovate UK has provided Derma Biosciences with grant funding and partnerships to fund the development and commercialisation of our line of plant-derived skin care products, offering validation and credibility of our commercial potential.

University of West England (UWE) provides access to state-of-the-art facilities for validation and product development, and offers opportunities for specialized research.

The Health Tech Hub is dedicated to helping businesses innovate and commercialize new technology solutions that promote health and well-being, and work to advance the growth of UK companies that improve the quality of life for all.

The Health and Wellbeing Innovation Centre, managed by Plymouth University, is home to Derma Biosciences' office and lab. As members, we are part of a dynamic network of over 140 innovative companies, gaining access to specialist resources and a collaborative community that supports growth and innovation.
Research Funding
This project is partly funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by the Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
