Psoriasis
PLAY VIDEOPsoriasis is a chronic autoimmune skin condition that affects around 2 - 3% of the UK population, approximately 1.8 million people¹.
It causes the skin to regenerate too quickly, resulting in red, scaly patches that can crack, bleed, and flare unexpectedly.
Beyond the physical, psoriasis can also impact mental well-being and daily life. Flare-ups are often unpredictable, triggered by stress or illness. Current treatments, while sometimes effective, can cause side effects or lose potency over time2.

At Derma Biosciences, we’re developing plant-derived therapies designed to calm inflammation and support skin health in people with psoriasis. Our research focuses on natural compounds with Vitamin A-like properties, which show promise in reducing flare-ups. Our goal is to offer safer, effective solutions that genuinely improve the quality of life for those living with psoriasis. Developed by nature, validated by science.
